I just returned from Vacation at the Shore. Hubby got sick mid week and we had to rush him to hospital,he has a heart condition and diabetes, but Thank God...he is ok,(He was dehydrated)so they gave him IV's and took him off a stong water pill he was taking...and we got to finish our Vacation...The top picture was taken from our deck...quite a view we have...I love the Ocean, and being there is so relaxing to me.It gives me a feeling of peace...Mr Seagull continued to just sit right near me on light post on deck. He was not in the least bit afraid of me,hubby or any movement..Made himself right at home...lol
Our place is in North Wildwood...took this pic of the lifegaurd boat...but took it with my phone...so its kinda small....I will know better next time to use my reg digi camera...
I am glad we had the time away...it was much needed. Now I start full force with Fall and Halloween creations..and am really ready to start..
Have a Blessed Day

Hi Marilyn Sweetie...
What a beautiful view. I am afraid I wouldn't want to come back, I would just move in there. So beautiful.
I could smell the ocean air, and feel the wind and mist on my face. I could hear the seagulls calling over head, and the sand felt so wonderful on my feet. Oh thank you for taking me along on your vacation today. I enjoyed myself immensely.
Have a beautiful blessed Sunday. Country hugs sweetie, Sherry
Glad that your hubby was ok. You post and reference to the "shore" has made me kinda homesick. I a Philadelphia transaplant and when we were little we went to the shore. Since transplanting to Baltimore when we go to Ocean City, we go to the "beach".
We use to vacation in Sea Isle City when I was young and then Wildwood as I got older. Did a bunch of craftshows in recent years on the boardwalk.

Welcome back from vacation! I hope hubby's feeling better. It looks beautiful where you were. I'm going to Wildwood in NJ on Sunday with my family for a few days. Haven't been there since I was a wee tot.
Happy crafting to ya!
Can't wait to see what you make next!

Hey Marilyn, I am so glad to hear your hubby is well. I didn't get a chance to tell you that on the farm when you posted it the other day. I just wanted to let you know I care and I am glad all is well.

I'm so relieved, as I'm sure you were, that your hubby's issues turned out to be a quick fix. I always loved walking barefoot in the sand searching for shells and shark teeth. Stayed away from the jellyfish though:)
Oh Mariyln, I'm so sorry to hear about your hubby getting sick! So thankful you were able to get him to the hospital and he was able to return to your vacation... that's wonderful!! Your ocean pictures are so beautiful. I just sat and dazed at the pictures. You are right... so very peaceful. What a wonderful way to take a break and relax right before the busy holiday season approaches!
It has been many years since I visited the beach. Looking at your pics I could just imagine the sound of the waves hitting the beach. I love water and being around it. I find it relaxing unless my kids are about and near the water. So good your Hubby is feeling better and you had time to enjoy your get away. Happy fall creating.
Marilyn I am so glad your hubby is ok. I love the ocean also it just makes me feel so mellow LOL
Glad you had a nice vacation.
