So Far 2012 has been crazy busy. Lots of orders,and its a little hard for me cause I do not have the stamina I had prior to my Heart Attack,so I take it much slower.. I love creating,but its hard when your doing orders. I was told by the nurse that is handling my case I need to take time to relax..Creating and cross stitching do it for me..so I guess I need to make time for those things.. This attack has really opened my eyes to what I can and can not do...I did create the things below..hope you enjoy them

Random act of Kindness!

I just had to share the wonderful loving heart of this amazing Artist! As many of you know since my heart attack,I have been in such a down state of mind. Scared of what my future holds..and that is not normally me. My emotions are super sensitive at this point.
Last night while on etsy I clicked on a link of an Artist with amazing talent. She needle felts and sculpts wonderful works of art...and many of her pieces are little animals. While browsing I stopped on a listing of the sweetest little German shorthaired pointer..and fell in love with him. She captured the soul of this breed in his little face. Knowing that I could not afford to buy him(tho he is worth every penny she charges) I had to at least email her and tell her how wonderful her work was..and how much I loved this little guy.And how I lost my Hanzy (my German shorthaired Pointer) so I knew how wonderful the breed is..And their soulful eyes...

To my utter amazement she emailed me and said she wants to send him to me..that she knows
he will be loved! Crying so hard I could hardly respond to her email..I offered for her to choose some pieces from my stores and she said no...she just wanted me to love this little guy!

She has touched my heart more than anything has in a long time..Her Act of Kindness and Generosity totally blew me away! You must check out her shop..To think she creates these
little guys with a ball of wool shows a creativity not often seen!

I want to publicly thank Janice from the bottom of my Heart for this Gift of the Heart...Please check out all her wonderful Creations..you won't be disappointed!

HI my Blogger Friends!

First I want to wish Each of You a Wonderful Thanksgiving..shared with friends and family and filled with Love and Blessings!
I can not believe it has been so long since I blogged! It has been crazy in my life. August and Sept were insanely busy for me. My etsy shoppe kept me very very busy. I think I did something like
180 orders between my shoppe and my website from August til the First Week of October. I am thankful for the business,but it was truly more than I could handle and was I stressed out!
On October 8th..I Had a Heart Attack! I was with my Grand daughter at the grocery store. Hubby was in car,as we just came from dinner out. I walked into the door about 15 feet, and it felt like someone hit me in the center of the chest with a baseball bat. The pain was horrible. Thankfully I was holding a cart,or I would have gone down. I had two thoughts...my God what is wrong with me,and I did not want to scare my Grand daughter. Somehow I got her to get what she wanted and got out to the car..told my husband about the pain. We got home, he handed me aspirin,which I took,and then layed down..It was the night from Hell.
Pain,swetting,nausea...yep all the classic signs..but I refused to go to hospital and subject my grand daughter to sitting there all night. (Cause it was probably indigestion) the Next day I slept for 20 of 24 hours and was soo tired,listless,scattered...with a pain that would go from my chest to my left arm and then back to my chest. For almost another week I continued doing orders,etc and only went to heart doc cause my Mom nagged me into going.
they did an echo,and the next day a stress test...I was home from the stress test 15 minutes when the
heart doc office called. They said for my hubby to go to drugstore and get four perscriptions and take them immediately..and to call 911 if my chest pain got any stronger. I asked what was going on and was told I had a massive heart attack,had a blockage,and was scheduled for surgery the next morning.
Turns out I had what they call the "widow Maker" which ususally kills the person instantly..yet willpower and God,and my love for my Grand daughter kept me going. The Circumflex &,Left Anterior decending arteries were 100% blocked and they needed to put two stints.Because I was stubborn
and ignored the pain, I did do some nasty damage to my heart. Part of it is not working...so its kinda scarey not knowing how things will go. Six months we be the turning point..

So......Please please..if you have chest pain..go to the Hospital...Do not ignore it..its very important
that you don't! Like they said to me in ICU in Philly...how would your grand daughter do if you had died? So don't be stupid and stubborn like I was.

Some New Prims and Garden Critters

Finished a few new Prims..they are on my website

A Prim Grubby Jar..

And now some critters in my Garden...

I took this pic of a tiny wren that just fledged its nest..it was probably about 2" long the the sweetest little thing..

and a Baby Bunny that will not leave my flowers alone...sweet,but destructive!

I love all my critters in my Gardens...we have all sorts of birds,hummers,chipmunks,squirrels,rabbits,a crow that lives in our huge old oak tree..I call him/her the Lone Crow..cause its always by itself.I put pennies out and he steals them..Love having him tho...

Well off to rest my eyes. Had surgery on both and they are still bothering me some..Healing fine tho..

Good Morning my Blogging Friends. I am so happy! My Hummers are back. I wait all early spring to
see them in my gardens again. They truly make my day when they arrive. We saw two of them already.Four times at the feeders and once one was flying near the ground looking for nesting materials. I just put the feeders out and there they were. We have quite a few in our Gardens during the summer and they are such a joy to watch..like lttle flying jewels. Each year we get a few more. Another of God's wonderful creations.
I just finished a few new Prim goodies for my Website and Etsy Shoppes...
The first piece is a vintage stitchery design by Blackbird Designs. Done on aged Bone 32 cout linen
with pewter grey threads,and aged old lace trim.This will be listed in my Etsy shoppe~Fanciful Stitches later today.

First a new Bee Skep design from Sassafras Hill Designs Done with painted Osnaburg..I love

how nice and Prim it is.

And then I added a little Prim Pocket Hanger which is a design by Teressa Primitives

I am working on more things later today. I am trying to get as many pieces finished as I can before I have my eye surgery on the 18th. So once I finish up a few orders I will be working on some new goodies...

Oh and here is a picture taken last summer right before our Hummers left for the season..Wonder if the same little girl is back?

Couple of new Spring Things

Just finished "Eggbert" the Prim Bunny......lol..He is ready to eat his big ole carrot!I know I would not try to take it from him..he looks like he is serious about that carrot!

I Stitched this Wonderful Spring Design by With Thy Needle and Thread...I will be listing it on etsy when my OFG teams does its Spring offerings..

I bought this other great Pattern for a Spring Sampler,and needed the Hornbooks to do them...Asked Hubby if he would make them for me for
Valentines Day...rather than flowers..and he did...now I can stitch the Sampler
and put it together...Gonna stain them a Prim Color...not sure what yet...

He also made me a prim Soap holder for my bathroom wall,but it has a clamp on it til the glue dries to hold the base..so will take pics when its dry..
Off to list some new goodies on my website..and then do some stitching til my Son's Birthday party tonight...My youngest one..

Just finished this Prim Pin Poke...Its a Homespun Elegance design..I then made it into a pin poke,primly stitched and filled it with filler and crushed Walnuts for
sharpening your pins and needles. Love how Prim it is!

And my Mess Up for the day...Having a ton of orders to finish and get shipped

yesterday one of the items was a set of my prim owl ornies. I stitched them,and they were sweet...then it was time to "age" them. I don't know what the heck happened,but when I opened the oven to take them out I was sick..For some reason the staining went crazy..and they looked horrible....talk about extreme prim...grrrrrrr. So needless to say I had to make a new set...I was not

a happy peron with a list of orders to complete..Just another day in

paradise...lol

Wow, I can not believe its almost the end of September! Time is flying by for me anymore.I just started to decorate my Home for Fall...Love the Fall colors..Love the cool crisp air..In fact I love everything about Fall...I wanted to share A few new pieces I made for my website and Etsy. I have been sewing like crazy to get new things finished.

First my Folky Pumpkins which are wonderful! They are very large,in fact the orange pumpkin has almost two pounds of filler! Waxed,Painted and Sealed to give a almost leather like look to them

Back from Vacation

I just returned from Vacation at the Shore. Hubby got sick mid week and we had to rush him to hospital,he has a heart condition and diabetes,but Thank God...he is ok,(He was dehydrated)so they gave him IV's and took him off a stong water pill he was taking...and we got to finish our Vacation...The top picture was taken from our deck...quite a view we have...I love the Ocean,and being there is so relaxing to me.It gives me a feeling of peace...

Mr Seagull continued to just sit right near me on light post on deck. He was not in the least bit afraid of me,hubby or any movement..Made himself right at home...lol

Our place is in North Wildwood...took this pic of the lifegaurd boat...but took it with my phone...so its kinda small....I will know better next time to use my reg digi camera...

I am glad we had the time away...it was much needed. Now I start full force with Fall and Halloween creations..and am really ready to start..

our hibiscus flowers...they are so beautiful,with each flower almost the size of a large dinner plate...amazing flowers...I guess they love this horrible heat we have been having in Southern New Jersey...cause they are thriving,with at least 8 of those huge flowers blooming on each plant at a time

I have more

pics I took of my garden flowers,but need to resize them for the blog. I have a small veggie Garden,with tomato's and peppers...Because our home is a old house,the trees are huge,and we don't get lots of sun

so I can only have a small plot with veggies....but I have been

taking care of my veggie plants like little babies...and have lots and lots of

tomatos starting to ripen..Peppers too..I love knowing that I grew the veggies,and truly

nothing tastes better than Jersey tomatos! I harvested ...my first three today..I've already

picked enough peppers to use in pepper steak last night..so my pampering is

finally paying off...lol

These are so beautiful...they are a Blue/Violet...awesome! The pink one is the color the plant was when I planted it...I honestly think the color was caused by My Dog Hans...it was one of his fav places to mark his teritory ...I am curious to see if now that he is gone...if they will eventually change back to pink?? Anyway..I am loving the color they are now...

Spring has Sprung...

Spring has finally sprung! My mini daffodils are blooming,and most of my other spring flowers are popping up all over my Gardens. We had a beautiful last two days..it was glorious! Near 70 and sunny...we finished a lot of yard work..lots more to go but got quite a bit done. Very sore today,but glad we did all we did.

Today its raining...but thats ok,cause I have tons of stitching and creating to do...

The Chipmunks are back..after a long winters sleep..ready to eat all my birdseed!

They are so darn cute...but really really are Hogs...They won't stop until they clean out the bird Feeders...lol

Yes...its snowing

Yes...we are getting the storm..I was so hoping it would miss us. I am having a ball watching all the birds at my feeders.I had seven Cardinals,Three Nuthatches,lots of ChickaDees,Wrens,Junco's,Downy Woodpeckers,Sparrows,Titmice,and the Big ole Red Headed Woodpecker we call BulbHead.Reason being he has a big ole round head,which is bright red.He is a large bird...and so pretty! Finally got a shot of him eating at the suet feeder.
Since I can no longer have a dog or cat in the house,I guess they are my new "Pets"...Check out the picture of Old Bulb Head...lol

A Backyard Birdhouse...covered with this fluffy white stuff...and one of my Rose Bushes just covered. If you look closely you can see the buds on the rose bush...so it must know that Spring is really coming...hummmm wonder when?

This is how it looked outside this morning....

Like we needed more..we received another 6-8 inches of snow again today...yikes..
when is it going to stop! They just declared a state of emergency here..so no vehicles are allowed on the roads til 3 PM tomorrow Wed.No mail today and I guess no mail tomorrow and I have orders ready to ship out..grrrrrr

This morning..every branch or leave or stem was covered with snow..awesome sight..Every thing just sparkled with snow...Mother Nature at her Finest...but I think we have had enough for a while now....

Do you think we had some snow?? We got about 2 1/2 feet of snow...and were snowed in until my brother in law came over with a snowblower...but it is so beautiful..It turned my yard into a winter wonderland! Notice the bird bath...Guess I need to put a pan of water out so they can drink...

Living room redo

You all remember I lost my dog to cancer. Well proir to his death, he literally destroyed our house. He could not control is bladder,his urine was full of blood, so there was very little carpet,or furniture in living room ,dining room or halls he did not destroy.Cleaning just did not work. It was impossible to get out the stains..Because of the heartbreak of losing him, I had to promise my hubby I would not get another animal..(it literally destroyed me to loose him) If I did he would replace the damaged things...so here is a start of what I have done.

Living and dining rooms had tan stained carpets...Sofa and love seat were a blue check,and they too were destroyed....so here is what I have done so far...New carpet Color is Hay Loft...Its in

my dining room and halls as well

New furniture,new corner table...He did not destroy the other tables..The sofa looks small in picture,but is actually 85" long..It almost was too large to get into the house..Delivery men had a hard time getting it in.The love seat is 65" . Still have accessories I need to change..and add.The shelf over sofa I found on ebay.The Cabinet is one I painted.

I bought the swags and valances,and made the bottom panels from ultra muslin (nice heavy fabric)

In another corner of the living room I have an Antique Childs Desk...that I found in someone's trash. It had tons of coats of paint on it,

and was a gaudy pink when I found it. It had about 10 coats of paint on it..After days of Sanding and scraping for days ,I found the wood was tiger Oak!!

Was so pleased with the outcome...

I wanted a shelf for the Wall over the desk,so I went through my wood stash and found this shelf from my "country" days on a shelf in

my studio...so this is what I did.. Olde wooden rocker near Fireplace...
Still working on odds n ends,and am going to start putting out

Christmas stuff...so will take picks of my fireplace mantle,and the decorations soon.

Been so busy with orders I am just now starting to decorate for Christmas...:-(

We also had new ceramic tiles put into the kitchen..will post pictures soon

as I get it decorated for Christmas!

Shelf and Knife Rack redo

Just did a few things over...the first is a shelf that I had in my dining room,which was a nasty green...but ever since I repainted my dining room..I could not use it...

So...I repainted it Vintage Linen over Black...did lots of sanding,and then stained with dark walnut stain...think it came out pretty nice!

Then I took my old yucky knife rack that I always hid in the corner,and spray painted it
Flat Black...a few coats,sanded,stained and added a vintage label to the front...Now I can
keep it out on my counter and it matches my other prim things...
